Independent bands and artists can now sell their digital music at the Supernova Store at Supernova.com via the partnership with Pay Who You Want Online (PWYWO). This move gives indie artists a marketplace to help sell and promote their music while contributing to charity.
Supernova aspires to help fans buy music directly in support of their favorite artists and help support a charity, according to the site.
PWYWO is a one of a kind service where fans can either give money to the artists and the affiliate charities. The innovative company is known for offering artists more proceeds than any other online music store.

Supernova is a community that grew out of the largest Battle of the Bands operator in Canada, and into the web 2.0 world by building the most active Canadian social community dedicated to music. The site’s mantra is to provide new / undiscovered musicians with the same caliber of experience as a rockstar would get. The Web site is designed to support young artists who are willing to work hard at self-promotion, by giving them viral social media tools and web metrics that resonate with industry scouts and agents.
Using their 17+ years of experience in creating exciting events that connect youths to music, rewarding passion and musical performance, Supernova is now helping to design and execute major music promotions from some of the country’s top companies. With over 23,000 new music bands and artists, Supernova is the largest and only social network to produce live shows to promote new artists and their talent.
